The telescopes can be used due to the excellent optical qualities that characterise them also for earthly or naturalistic observations. However, as we know, the images that a telescope returns to the observer eyes are reversed. Observing and using a telescope in the field would therefore be complicated and uncomfortable. With the 45° prismatic diagonal with straightened image however you can use your own tool for natural and earthly observations just like a normal spotting scope. The Auriga image rectifier features a high quality friend prism consisting of BaK4 glass and all surfaces treated with effective anti-reflective coatings, all to ensure maximum transmissibility and minimize loss of brightness and contrast modulation. The Auriga image rectifier prism fits comfortably in all 31.8mm fixtures already present in standard refractors and reflectors. This tool is not suitable for Newtonian telescopes and therefore even with Dobsonians. The compatible eyepieces are all those with a barrel diameter of 31.8 mm. The tightening system is guaranteed by the proven locking system via brass ring driven by an ergonomic and durable screw. As shown above, this diagonal is not compatible with Newtonian diagram telescopes.
