Product Description & Reviews

You cannot see most astronomical objects with your naked eye. Looking through the finder scope gives you 18X more light, allowing many astronomical objects to become visible to your eye. The 6x30 finder scope has a small 30mm aperture objective and 6X magnification - an extremely useful little telescope. The Astromania finder scope gives you a wide field of view to make locating objects that much easier. Imagine you have the telescope roughly, not yet precisely, pointed at object. The large field of view means you can already see the object at the edge of the image. The built-in crosshairs now come to your aid. They let you move the object exactly into the centre of the image which means it is also already accurately centred in the main telescope.
